Tune - Cough Drops
Before you chastise me for being so lax in my updates, I do have a very good excuse! I've been whipped into shape by Mother, brought in to work on a very special project of theirs, of which I will blog about in the very near future. Somehow, though, in the past few days, I've found time (mostly between the times of midnight and 4am, I might admit), to knock up a rough draft of a tune I've been working on.
It's electro; was going for a Noisia - Raar sort of style and feel, but obviously I'm so far off their production skills it's ridiculous.
It's here anyway. Done, and synthesised (yay, all my own sounds again, minus drum hits) in Reason, again, with a few edits and a brief master in Cubase:

Tune: Low
Here's something nice and odd for you all. It's called 'Low'. I've been experimenting with really odd rhythms during the past few days, those kind of rhythms that really shouldn't work together but, weirdly, kind of do. Speeding up and slowing down arp and mod rates and things like that.
Did the writing in Reason, and made an effort to synthesise everything myself (getting bored of samples and patches), apart from the pad (thanks, BuddhaMachine). Whacked it into Cubase and did a bit of cutting up and brief mastering.
It turned out like this (there's about 5 seconds of silence at the beginning, and I'm too lazy to trim it):
